Last Sunday, early in the morning, Julian developed a fever and at only 2 weeks old we had no choice but to take him to the emergency room at Miami Children's Hospital. The battery of tests he was subjected to only proves that he is a healthy and very strong little boy. Erring on the extreme side of caution, the doctor admitted Julian for 10 days of intravenous antibiotic. It has been a difficult and disorienting week for all of us.
We are thankful that Julian is healthy, thankful for our parents who have been such a great help with Emilia, and so thankful to finally have our family home tonight all together under one roof.
