Almost Walking

Emilia has been cruising for weeks but now she is starting to stand up unassisted and is enjoying "walking" with her push toy. By her birthday or soon after, we think Emilia will take her first steps.

Emilia definitely knows what she likes and dislikes but is not quite able to communicate it in words yet - though she has been able to say "bye-bye" -- actually with a southern accent--for a number of months. She is back to full time daycare most days and misses her Seattle grandparents but is excited when she sees them by webcam.
