June 2012

June was a trying month and as you can see by the posting date (July 18) July seems to be continuing that trend.  Both kids have been needier than before and it is difficult balancing our time and attention between the two, all the while managing our various responsibilities.  Emilia has been drawing a lot and is getting more refined with writing her letters every day. She is also becoming quite the storyteller - fiction, non-fiction, and somewhere in between.  Julian is cruising all over the place and into everything.  He is still transitioning away from puree foods, but does not seem so interested in the new foods we offer him. Unfortunately, he has been fighting what seem like back to back ear infections and colds and we look forward to him getting back to his usual sweet and smiley self.
