The summer heat and rains have set in but that has not slowed down these kids. We started the month off right with our annual vacation in Sanibel which included visits to the pool, the beach and the ice cream shop. Back home, Emilia bravely enrolled in a month long theater camp where she made new friends, learned all the songs for Mulan and picked up a few ideas from the older kids in the camp. Of course, Julian has also become a Mulan fanatic - singing "I'll make a man out of you" and obsessing over the bad guy -Shan-Yu.
The big news is that both Emilia and Julian completed a 2 week swimming class and have been showing off their new found skills and confidence in the water.
Unfortunately, at the end of the month Emilia had a bad fall from her scooter and seriously scraped her face. We are hopeful it will heal quickly without any scaring.
